Dairy and Egg free betty's cake mix

you find yourself daydreaming about the day your parents went to the store and got a treat for the whole family to enjoy (the rainbow chip betty crockers cake mix) your mouth starts to water and you think “iv bin healthy lately a little bit of cake won’t hurt me” yet You find yourself in a dilemma. you remember that you can’t have eggs nor milk, so you end up with a granola bar instead. Well today I’m about to change that. Say bye to granola bars and hello to Bettys vegan rainbow chip cake. Today I will be showing you how to take Bettys rainbow chip cake and turn it dairy and egg free.

You will need:

  • Betty Crocker Super Moist Cake Mix (Party Rainbow Chip

  • 1 cup water or almond milk

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • ¾ cup apple sauce

directions

Heat: Heat your oven to 350 degrees F if you have a shiny metal or glass pan. 325 degrees F for a dark or nonstick pan. (Grease bottom only of a 13" x 9" pan or the bottom and sides of all other pans.)

Beat: In a large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and apple sauce on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.

Bake: Bake as directed in the chart or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before adding any frosting.
