Funffetti cake was one of my favourite treats growing up as a kid. And so I thought I would put a twist on one of my favourite classics.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix (bettys or dunkin)

  • 1 stick Butter softened (not melted microwave on defrost tell room temperature)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (you can add more if you want)

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 F. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray or canola oil.

  2. Add cake mix, butter, and egg to a bowl. Using an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment Mix until a thick dough forms. Add sprinkles and chocolate chips, mix until incorporated.

  3. take 2/3 of the dough and press into the bottom of the pan. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the dough. Use remaining dough to create small balls and space over the top of the bars. Press down to flatten.

  4. Bake bars for about 30 minutes, or until they just start to brown. Cool fully before slicing,
