Chicken Alfredo

today i thought id share one of my own recipes i made a while back this recipe is grate because its something the hole family can enjoy (even kids)

ingredients

Kosher salt (for pasta)

12 ounces fettuccine Olive oil (for tossing) 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast (about 2 pre cooked) Freshly ground black pepper and salt 1/4 cup unsalted butter 2 cups heavy cream 2 pinches freshly grated (or pre grated nutmeg is just fine) a teaspoon of italian spices

1/8 teaspoon sage

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

2 pinches of dry parsley

1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

directions

bring a large pot of water to a boil, once boiled add salt and the pasta. boil until al dente. drain and toss with a little bit of olive oil

Meanwhile, slice prepared chicken into medium cubs and set aside.in a large pan heated to medium add butter and stir tell melted.. When the butter has melted, add in cream, nutmeg, Italian spices, sage, garlic powder dry parsley, salt and black peppe to tast bring it to a simmer, then cook for 2 minutes. Lower heat (keeping the sauce just warm.) Whisk Parmigiano into the sauce. Add the chicken and pasta. toss them together. Serve hot in prepared plates or bowls.
